Darryl has a lifetime of experience in financial planning, investments, insurance and human resources. His training, experience and credentials uniquely equip him to advise on a wide range of marital and divorce planning.

Darryl is the President of Columbus Financial Group in Fort Myers, which engages in financial planning for private individuals and businesses, offers securities, investments and investment advisory services, as well as life and disability insurance.

Darryl was a Musician/Bandsman in the United States Marine Corps for several years, following which he completed his undergraduate education at The Ohio State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1976, majoring in Administration, Business and Human Resources Management. He later received a Master of Business of Administration degree in Management and Industrial Relations from University of Toledo, Ohio, in 1982.

In 1999, Mr. Bauchert became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and became a Certified Divorce Planner in 2001.

Currently an avid golfer and musician, Darryl is also a former football coach for the Bishop Verot High School and the “Pop Warner” Hornets, and a former baseball umpire and football official. His professional and civic affiliations include many professional associations, university alumni groups, Marine Corps veterans (including Buglers Across America), church and humanitarian organizations.

Darryl has lived in Fort Myers since 1982 with his wife, Marti, and their daughter, Christina. His leisure time includes family activities, music, and golf.
